Club News:

- Airport has been officially sold to the new owner.  We wish the new owner the best of luck with his new investment and hope to continue our relationship with the airport for a long time to come. 

- Members have reported that there has been an excessive amount of cigarette butts found at the airport.  If you smoke, bring an ash tray (coffee can full of dirt, etc) and take your butts with you.  The ground is not your ash tray.

- Garbage has also been found at the field.  The garbage cans at the field have been removed, we are instituting a strict carry in / carry out policy.  Please have consideration for the airport owner and your fellow club members and take any and all trash you have out with you when you leave.

- Be sure to use the sign in log book when you arrive and depart the airport. 

- Be on your 'best behavior' when at the airport in the coming months.  We have had a very long, and very happy relationship with the former owner.  Let's show the new owner what a great bunch of folks we are and that we can be an asset to him and his new facility, not a liability.

- Reminder that with the exception of spectators / guests that are accompanied by a current club member (and full scale pilots with aircraft at the airport of course), there are to be absolutely no non-club, non-ama members allowed at the airport for any reason whatsoever.  If you see someone there you do not recognize, do not be afraid to approach them and ask who they are and what they are doing.  If their name is not on the list and they no not have explicit permission from the NEW OWNER to be there, kindly ask them to leave the airport, as they are trespassing.
